Raman Marusau is a locksmith from the Minsk district.

Marozau was arrested on March 23, 2021. According to the charge, he leaked information about a police officer to a Telegram channel.

This was qualified as an offense under Part 6 of Art. 16 and Part 3 of Art. 130 (assistance in intentional actions aimed at inciting other social hostility and enmity on the grounds of another social affiliation, committed by a group of persons).

As far as human rights defenders know, Raman was sentenced to 6 years in prison under Art. 130 of Criminal Code. There is also information that in the end of December 2021,  He was transferred from the Pre-trial detention center No. 1 to the Penitentiary No. 3.
