Natallia Levaya lived in Poland for a while. In December 2023, Natallia quit her job and decided to return to her homeland. She missed her homeland very much and had already paid many donations for 2020 and has a paper from the KGB.
Natallia was arrested at the border.
On July 17, 2024, she was given a harsh sentence. For donations, Judge Mikalai Sianko sentenced the woman to six years' imprisonment. In addition, she was fined 1000 basic units (40 thousand rubles) - almost the amount that Natalia donated to initiatives and funds.
Natallia Levaya was found guilty under the following articles of the Criminal Code: Part 2 of Article 361-1 (financing extremist activities), Part 2 of Article 361-3 (financing participation in hostilities on the territory of a foreign state) and Article 361-2 (financing the activities of an extremist group (ed. lost its force in 2021).
