Yauhen Prapolski was detained on September 29, 2020. State TV showed the man in a story called "The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus identifies the administrators of "anonymous" chats and protesters." He was charged under Part 2 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code (participation in mass riots in Minsk).
On July 19, 2021, Judge Dzmitry Astapenka sentenced Prapolski to eight years in a medium-security penal colony.
