Vital Astreika was detained on 29 September 2021, along with many other people who posted comments on social media about the death of Andrei Zeltser and a KGB officer.
As a result, he was charged with insulting Lukashenka (Article 368.1 of the Criminal Code) and defaming him (Article 367.1 of the Criminal Code).
