Valeryi Khamenka worked as an ambulance doctor in Baranavichy. Before the trial, he was taken into custody (the exact date of detention is being clarified).

 At first, he was accused of "Rehabilitation of Nazism" because of a repost that compared leaflets from the time of Nazi Germany and leaflets from modern Russia.

 Later, the accusation was reclassified as "Incitement to hatred" towards Russians.

 The trail was taking place from May 17 to July 13, 2023.

 Valeryi was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in a general-security penal colony.
