Vadzim Tsahelnik is a former postman charged under two articles of the Criminal Code: insulting a government official (Article 369 of the Criminal Code) and organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them (Article 342 of the Criminal Code).
According to the indictment, Tsahelnik carried out "destructive activities aimed at destabilizing the situation in the society using the Internet," calling for "mass riots", which allegedly caused disruption of public transport.
On November 2, 2021, judge Lidziya Tselitsa sentenced him to three years in a general-security penal colony. The convict was taken into custody in the courtroom.
