Siarhei Kudrytski worked as a sales specialist. He was arrested on June 24, 2022 and placed in custody pending trial. His wife Marharyta Kudrytskaya was detained and convicted together with him.
However, at the court session it became known that Kudrytski was also detained on June 9, 2020, and a bag of marijuana was allegedly found in his things then. Thus, the charge under Article 328 was considered simultaneously.
On September 19, 2022, the Centraĺny District Court of Minsk sentenced Kudrytski to three years of freedom restriction under home confinement under Part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code; and to two years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony under Part 1 of Art. 328 ('Illegal acquisition and possession of narcotic drugs without intent to sell'). The final sentence is two years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony. The case was tried by the judge Viktoryia Shabunia.
