Pavel Belaholau

Pavel Belaholau was detained in Mahilioŭ for publishing comments on the Internet in connection with the deaths of IT worker Andrei Zeltser and KGB agent Dzmitry Fedasiuk.

On 25 August 2022, the Drybin District Court sentenced Pavel Belaholau accused of insulting a government official (Art. 369 of the Criminal Code) and discrediting the Republic of Belarus (Article 369-1) to two years and six months of imprisonment and a fine of 3,200 Belarusian roubles ($1,300).

According to human rights defenders, he was released from prison on October 10, 2023.
