Judge Yaraslau Paremski found him guilty under three articles of the Criminal Code: Part 1 of Art. 367 of the Criminal Code (Slander against the President of the Republic of Belarus); Part 1 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code (Insulting the President of the Republic of Belarus in public); art. 369 of the Criminal Code (Insulting a government official).
By partial combining the sentences, Prusov was given a final sentence of 3.5 years of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony and a fine of 3,200 Belarusian rubles (about USD 970). His cell phone was confiscated to the state.
