Eduard Apanovich was sentenced to one year and six months in a penal colony.
On April 11, 2024, a second group of local residents were sentenced by the Baranavičy District and Baranavičy City Court for their participation in post-election protests in 2020. Nine people were sentenced under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code by Judge Ina Paulouskaya. According to the prosecution, in August 2020, Alena Stakheika, Volha Tadro, Eduard Apanovich, Aliaksei Leskavets, Dzmitry Abramovich, Aleh Artsiukh, Aleh Siarheyeu, Dzmitry Khuta, and Viachaslau Shkutsko "disrupted the movement of vehicles and the normal functioning of enterprises and organizations by shouting slogans and displaying white-red-white cloths". The trial of the accused began on March 28, 2024.
