Liudmila Shchamialiova is an artist, participant of national, international and personal exhibitions. She is a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Belarus. The artist's works are in the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, Webkunsthaus Gallery of the Federal Republic of Germany, private collections in the USA, Italy, France, Russia, Holland, Ireland, Poland, Japan, Greece, Israel, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Australia, Germany.
She was arrested together with her husband, the artist Ihar Rymasheuski, in early October 2024. Two weeks later, they were not released. They were charged under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (participation in actions that grossly violate public order).
