Andrei Burdzenia was taken into custody on September 20, 2023. On that day, a video was released in which the man states that he wrote negative comments about Lukashenka, officials, police officers, and the Russian military, as well as threatening messages directed at individuals who support the current government.
The individual was charged under four articles of the Criminal Code, including insulting Lukashenka (Part 1 of Article 368), slander against Lukashenka (Part 2 of Article 367), insulting a government official (Article 369), and incitement to hatred (Part 1 of Article 130).
