Andrei Krauchuk was convicted under Part 1 of Article 130 ('Inciting hated'), Article 188 ('Defamation'), Parts 1 and 2 of Article 367 ('Slander against the President of Belarus'), Part 1 of Article 368 ('Contempt of the President of Belarus'), and Article 369 ('Contempt of a government official', 'Contempt of a judge').
The trial took place in the Minsk City Court behind closed doors in September and October 2022. The details are unknown.
On January 10, 2023, the Supreme Court heard the appeal in a closed session and upheld the verdict.
