Aleh Sychou is a defendant in the criminal case brought by the KGB for "attempting to commit a terrorist act" in Mačuliščy.
The "Ukrainian terrorist" Mikalai Shvets was detained on March 4 at the house of Aleh Sychou in the village of Čarciaž (Baraŭliany District). Sychou and his wife, Anastasiya Pilko, were detained by law enforcement officials in the same house on March 3. Aleh was charged under Article 289 of the Criminal Code (an act of terrorism).
Aleh is being held in pre-trial detention center of KGB.
