Uladzislau Beladzed is a Catholic believer. A graduate of the Theology Institute of the Belarusian State University, he entered the Roman Catholic Seminary and served at the Archcathedral Church of the Virgin Mary in Minsk.
Beladzed was arrested on May 31, 2023, and arrested for 15 days several times in a row. After 30 days in the notorious detention center on Akrescina Street in Minsk, he looked like a person who had been subjected to torture and inhumane treatment. However, Uladzislau Beladzed retains moral strength.
It became known that criminal proceedings were initiated against him under Article 130 of the Criminal Code ('Inciting racial, national, religious or other social hatred or enmity').
