Stanislau Filimonau was detained on May 17, 2021 for his involvement in a post-election protest in Brest in August 2020.
On November 8, the Lieninski District Court of Brest sentenced the political prisoner to 5 years in a medium-security penal colony on charges under Part 2 of Art. 293 and Part 3 of Art. 205 of the Criminal Code.
