Siarhei Yunchyts was arrested for solidarity with the political prisoners.
The trial began on October 2, 2024, in the Minsk Regional Court. He is charged under the following articles of the Criminal Code: "Financing extremist activities" (Article 361-2), "Promoting extremist activities" (Article 361-4). He faces up to eight years in a penal colony. Judge Alena Kurganava is presiding over the trial.
