Iryna Pahadayeva from Brest worked in a library and has two children. Iryna was arrested on May 6, 2024 and put into pre-trial detention. But the first time the law enforcement officers came to the woman on the same case was in November 2023.

She is accused under Parts 1 and 2 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code (promoting extremist activities). It is known that at the end of 2023 she was included in the list of participants of the Facebook community "Letters of Solidarity", which was recognized as an extremist formation.

In total, the case involves more than thirty episodes when the woman sent money to political prisoners in pre-trial detention centers in different cities of the country. In most cases, the amounts were 4-5 rubles. In just under a year and a half (from August 2021 to December 2022), Iryna sent 188 rubles. This was enough to initiate a criminal case and arrest her in May 2024.

She was brought to trial on June 26, 2024. The case was considered by Judge Andrei Siz of the Brest Regional Court. He sentenced Iryna to three years in a penal colony.
