Santa Franchuk was detained on February 27, 2022, for taking pictures of a ballot at a polling station. After 15 days of administrative arrest, she was re-arrested under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (group actions grossly violating public order), because the police found photos from the 2020 protests on her phone. Her husband was also detained for the same photos.

On July 21, 2022, the case of Santa Franchuk and Uladzimir Dalshou was heard in the court of the Saviecki district. They were both sentenced to three years of restricted freedom under home confinement.
