Nadzeya Laptsionak was convicted by the Minsk City Court under Part 1 of Article 130 (incitement to hatred), Part 3 of Article 361 (calls for sanctions), Part 3 of Article 361-1 (participation in an extremist formation), Part 1 of Article 368 (insulting Lukashenka), Article 369 (insulting a government official) and Article 391 of the Criminal Code (insulting a judge).
The case was heard by Judge Siarhei Katser on December 11-26. The woman was sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment and a fine of 200 basic units.
It is known that Nadzeya has two adult daughters and a minor son with disabilities.
