Maryia Nekrashevich was born in Baranavičy, Brest region, and has lived in Minsk for the past few years.

In mid-March 2023, Maryia Nekrashevich and her mother Tatsiana Nekrashevich were arrested. At first, she was convicted under Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses ('Distribution of extremist materials') in the Frunzienski District Court of Minsk, but still unknown what decision Judge Yuliya Blizniuk made.

Maryia Nekrashevich is accused under Article 342 of the Criminal Code ('Active participation in actions grossly disrupting public order').

The trial of the mother and daughter is to begin on May 29, 2023, in the Saviecki District Court of Minsk. Judge Alena Zhukovich will consider the case.
