Maksim was convicted under Part 1 of Article 13, Part 3 of Article 130 (incitement to hatred), Part 1 of Article 179 (illegal collection and dissemination of information about private life), Part 3 of Article 361-1 (creation of an extremist formation, or participation in it), Part 1 of Article 361-4, Part 2 of Article 361-4 (facilitating extremist activity) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
