Two weeks later, his partner Hanna Kavaliova was also arrested. Now they are charged under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (Active participation in actions grossly disrupting public order).
The trial of the political prisoners took place on April 28, 2023, in the Pieršamajski District Court of Minsk. Judge Maksim Trusevich found them guilty and sentenced them to 18 months of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony.
