Ihar Papou was convicted by Minsk City Court under Article 369, Article 364, Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code. From May 2 to May 12, 2023, the case was being considered by Judge Valiantsina Ziankevich.
On August 4, 2023 Ihar was added to the list of Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons involved in extremist activities.
Ihar was sent to the psychiatric hospital Haityunishki in Voranauski district.
