Dzmitry Hulin is a former military officer, a topographer. On December 15, 2023, Brest state media published a video of his arrest. The law enforcers call Dzmitry "an agent of the Ukrainian special services". 

From September 12 to September 29, 2023, his case was considered by Judge Sviatlana Bandarenka. The decision of the court on September 29, 2023: fourteen years of imprisonment in a medium-security penal colony.

Since Dzmitry spent 1 year and 3 months in pre-trial detention center before the trial, the sentence was recalculated taking into account the time served. The result was twelve years of imprisonment.

He is serving his sentence in penal colony No. 3.
