Anton Khadkevich was detained in November 2022 by riot police at his workplace. Anton was charged with participating in unauthorized mass events (Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code), promoting “extremist” activities (Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code), slander against Aliaksandr Lukashenka (Part 1 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus)
On August 22, 2023, in Homiel Regional Court, in a closed session, Khadkevich was sentenced to three years and six months in a medium-security penal colony.
