Andrei Bremschmidt served as an MP in Zaslaŭje, where his company is registered. He was also a member of the electoral commission for the parliamentary elections in 2019. Additionally, he was one of the organizers of the 'VIVA bike' event in Zaslaŭje.
On February 14, 2024, Andrei was on trial charged with violating two articles of the Criminal Code: Article 361-2 (Financing extremist activities) and Part 2 of Article 290-1 (Financing terrorist activities). Judge Alena Shylko presided over the case.
