Statement on the status of a political prisoner
Anatol Valadzko was detained on January 15, 2024, at his residence, following the use of force, including the deployment of a stun gun. On January 17, he was convicted under Article 19.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. Following his arrest, he was transferred to the pre-trial detention center.
He is charged under Part 1 of Article 290-1 (financing of terrorist activities) and Article 361-2 (financing the activities of an extremist formation).
