Anatol Kireichyk was charged under several articles: Article 188 of the Criminal Code (defamation), Article 369 of the Criminal Code (insulting a government official), Article 391 of the Criminal Code (insulting a judge) and Part 2 of Article 295 of the Criminal Code (illegal possession of ammunition). Ammunition was found during during the search of his house. The pensioner told the investigators that he had collected them.
On June 4, 2024, he was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months of imprisonment in a medium-security penal colony and a fine of 100 basic units.
The court also ordered the defendant to pay moral damages to the victims.
