Anastasiya Pilko is a defendant in the criminal case brought by the KGB for "attempting to commit a terrorist act" in Mačuliščy.
The "Ukrainian terrorist" Mikalai Shvets was detained on March 4 at the house of Aleh Sychou and Anastasiya Pilko in the village of Čarciaž (Baraŭliany District). Pilko and her husband, Aleh Sychou, were detained by law enforcement officials in the same house on March 3. Pilko was charged under Article 289 of the Criminal Code (an act of terrorism).
Anastasiya is being held in pre-trial detention center of KGB.
