Aliaksei Melnikau, a resident of Mahilioŭ, detained on 9 August 2020 and charged under part 2 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code (preparing to participate in mass riots) and Article 295 of the Criminal Code (illegal possession of weapons).
Melnikau's trial was closed. He pleaded guilty only in storage of weapons.
Aliaksei was found guilty on these two articles and sentenced to seven years of imprisonment.
