Aliaksandr Sharabaika is a famous bodybuilder. He was arrested in Hlybokaje, Viciebsk region.
First, he was convicted under an administrative article for reposts. Then he was charged under Article 368 of the Criminal Code ('Contempt of the president of Belarus') for insulting Lukashenka.
On September 14, 2023, Judge Andrei Tarasevich sentenced Aliaksandr to one year and six months of imprisonment for “insulting Lukashenka.” He was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
