Yana Arabeika

Yana Arabeika is an activist of the Belarusian Students' Association and a student of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University. She was detained in the dormitory on November 12 as part of a criminal case under Art. 342 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (organization or participation in group actions that gravely breach public order). Yana was initially held in the KGB pre-trial prison.

On July 16, 2021, Arabeika was sentenced to two years and six months in prison.

The political prisoner served her sentence in full and was released on November 30, 2022.
