Volha Tomina is a makeup artist. She was arrested in March 2022 in a criminal case on group actions grossly violating public order (Article 342 of the Criminal Code).

On May 24, 2022, the Lieninski District Court of Minsk started to consider the case of Volha Tomina. On May 26, 2022, Judge Yuliya Shut found the political prisoner guilty and sentenced her to 2 years of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony.

In late October, the Ministry of Internal Affairs added the political prisoner to the list of extremists.

Volha Tomina was released from prison on December 24, 2023, upon the expiration of her sentence.
