Volha Matsko was first convicted under Article 19.11 of the Administrative Code for 'distribution, production, storage, and transportation of information products containing calls to extremist activities or promoting such activities'. After that, criminal proceedings were opened against her for insulting Lukashenka (Article 368 of the Criminal Code, 'Contempt of the president of Belarus').
Volha was released from jail in September 2023.
