Viachaslau Ulasevich was found guilty under Article 370 of the Criminal Code (desecration of the state flag) by the Baranavičy court. He was sentenced to one year of restricted freedom in an open-type correctional facility.
He was found guilty of removing the flag from a building in a state of alcoholic intoxication. He then carried it for some time and threw it to the ground, causing the staff to break into three pieces and damaging the cloth.
Since June 2021 he has been serving his sentence in open-type correctional facility No. 49.
Viachaslau served his sentence in full and was released on June 9, 2022.
