On March 24, 2023, in the Maskoŭski District Court of Brest, Judge Maryna Skalkovich sentenced Viachaslau Kobryn to 18 months of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony and a fine of 3,700 Belarusian rubles (approx. $ 1,268).
The verdict became known from a news report on a state-owned TV channel. In the video, Prosecutor Pavel Kurpenich said that Viachaslau Kobryn had been kept in custody before the trial and had fully admitted his guilt during the trial.
