Vital Loika was detained for publishing comments on the Internet in connection with the deaths of IT worker Andrei Zeltser and KGB agent Dzmitry Fedasiuk.

It is known that Vital is under criminal investigation under Article 369 of the Criminal Code (insulting a government official) and Article 130 of the Criminal Code (inciting hatred).

On July 13, 2022, the Minsk Regional Court sentenced the political prisoner to 24 months of imprisonment and a fine of BYN 3,200 (about USD 1,270). Judge Alena Misnik considered the case.
