Viktoryia Kazakova was sentenced to one year in a penal colony under three articles of the Criminal Code: Article 188 (Defamation), Article 367 (Slander against Lukashenka), Article 368 (Insulting Lukashenka). The judge of the Minsk District Court Ihar Ihlikau pronounced the sentence on February 8, 2024.
Before the trial, Viktoryia was released on bail. After the verdict, she was taken into custody. Victoryia has three children. Two of them are minors.
