Parkhimchyk was accused of scattering 510 tire-flattening screws on the road near the administrative building of the border committee in Minsk between November 12 and 16. He reportedly did this for hooliganism reasons. However, he failed to commit any crime, as the screws were collected before the vehicles could drive on the road.
Viktar Parkhimchyk was detained on November 16, 2020, at the crime scene. He plead partially guilty.
On April 29, 2022, Judge Halina Prykhozhka changed Viktar's custody level to imprisonment: the political prisoner will spend just over four months in a general-security penal colony.
Parkhimchyk served his sentence in full and was released on September 14, 2022.
