Cases: The round dance case

Viktar Labko was a defendant in the "round dance protest case" started after the events of September 13, 2020, in Brest, when the police dispersed the protesters dancing at the crossroads with a water cannon.

On May 7, 2021, the Maskoŭski District Court of Brest convicted 14 more defendants in the "round dance protest case". Judge Ina Klyshpach found all of the defendants guilty and sentenced them to home confinement or imprisonment. Viktar Labko was sentenced to 24 months of freedom restriction with a referral to an open-type penal facility.

He began serving his sentence on August 1, 2021.

In early August 2023, the political prisoner was released from open-type penal facility #49 in Asipovičy, Mahilioŭ region, having served his full sentence.
