Viktar Karnienka was sentenced in a closed-door hearing to three and a half years of imprisonment in a regular-security penal colony under Part 1 of Article 368 and Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code for insulting Aliaksandr Lukashenka and ‘inciting other social hatred’.
