Vasil Paliakou is an activist from Homieĺ. In November 2023, he served 30 days of administrative arrest. On January 23, 2024, he was detained again.
He has been sentenced three times to 15 consecutive days of administrative arrest under Article 19.11 of the Administrative Code for distributing information products included in the national list of extremist materials, as well as producing, publishing, or storing such information. He is currently in custody in a temporary detention center.
