Valery Bohdan was sentenced to two years of restricted freedom in an open-type correctional facility under Article 363 of the Criminal Code of Belarus for resisting a police officer.

According to the case materials, on 6 December 2020, Valery Bohdan took part in a mass event and was detained in Yakub Kolas Street. On that day, a special police car was damaged - two dents on the side. That's what Bohdan was accused of.

On 26 June 2021, he started serving his sentence in an open-type correctional facility No. 6.
