Vadzim Rushkevich is a businessman with a background in the import of computers and computer components. He has founded and/or served as director of numerous organizations in this field. Most recently, he served as Deputy Director for Commercial Issues at Avard Service and Director of SanRan.
He was detained in late 2023. The KGB included Rushkevich on the list of participants in the "extremist formation Trielit."
The trial commenced on May 20, 2024, in Minsk City Court with Judge Sviatlana Charapanava presiding. Vadzim will be tried under two articles: Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code (participation in actions that grossly violate public order, or calls for such participation) and Part 3 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code (Calls for sanctions or other actions aimed at causing harm to the national security).
