Ulyana Yakovich was convicted by the Court of the Centralny District of Minsk under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code. On July 7 and 10, 2023 the case was considered by Judge Viktoryia Shabunia. Ulyana was sentenced to two years and six months of restricted freedom under home confinement ("domashnyaya khimiya").

      On October 20, 2023, she was added to the list of Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons involved in extremist activities.
