Uladzislau Tamashevich is a resident of Maladziečna detained on September 7, 2021 as part of a criminal case of "insulting the state flag" (Article 370 of the Criminal Code).

Tamashevich was accused of setting fire to a flag on a store building.

On November 29, 2021, Tamashevich was sentenced to 1 year and 5 days of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony.

Uladzislau served his term in full and was released on June 22, 2022.
