Tatsiana Kupchina is accused under three articles of the Criminal Code: Article 368 (insulting the President), Article 369 (insulting the government official), and Article 391 (insulting a judge or a people's assessor).

Tatsiana was sentenced to two years of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony. The court also ordered her to pay a fine of 6,400 rubles (about 1,900 US dollars) and compensate the victims for moral damages in the amount of 4,000 rubles (about 1,200 US dollars).

The cell phone was confiscated from Tatsiana Kupchina as the instrument of the crime.

On January 11, 2024, Kupchina was scheduled to be released.
