Tatsiana Makarava was found guilty under Part 3 of Article 203-1 of the Criminal Code (unlawful actions in relation to information about private life and personal data).
On March 13, 2024 she was sentenced to two and a half years of restricted freedom with transfer to an open penal facility. She was also fined 4,000 rubles (100 basic units).
On May 31, 2024 the Ministry of Internal Affairs added her to the "list of extremists".
