Tatsiana Batura was detained on November 15 in the Minsk City Court when she tried to attend the first trial of the political prisoner Volha Zalatar.

Tatsiana was ill-treated and sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest three times in a row. As of December 30, 2021, she has been sentenced to 45 days of arrest.

On December, 29, Tatsiana's father died. But she wasn't allowed to go to his funeral. On December 31, the judge of the Frunzenski District Court issued a decision to release Tatsiana and postponed her another trial to January 3. So Tatsiana went straight to her father's funeral from the police department.

On January 3, 2022, the girl managed to flee from Belarus, while the court appointed her another 15 days of arrest in absentia.
